New Buttons

Have you seen the lovely Sn@p goodies from Simple Stories?

Ooh, I'm lovin' the colours and the very graphic style.  Let's just say that my life would not be complete without it!

So what's a girl to do? You just need some lovely Boutique Buttons to accessorise right? So that's just what I've done. I think these are my new favourite buttons...

This beautiful set of a buttons have eye-popping colour and very cool sayings. I particularly love my itty-bitty camera.  Of course if you haven't got Sn@p then don't let that stop you! Coming very soon to Angel Crafts (where you can also fill your boots with Sn@p goodies).

Are you doing a December Daily this year? Or how about those festive photos that will need scrapping?

In this first set, I've mixed together some classic vintage images with a few graphic buttons. They will be ideal for all sorts of pages, journals and mini-books.

And by popular demand, a vintage set of buttons with beautiful images from yester-year.
These buttons are currently available at Merly Impressions

I'm off to play with some lovely new goodies - be back soon with some inspiration! Thanks for popping in.

Sketchbook365 November Challenge

I do love a sketch challenge - it's a great way to get the creative juices flowing.  I had chance to play with the new challenge over at Sketchbook365 based on a layout by Tiff Firth.

Here's the sketch

and my take on the sketch

I flipped the sketch and turned it into a 12x12 layout. I also rearranged some of the elements to suit my layout.  The kids were building sand boats whilst on holiday in Cornwall last year.  It was really hilarious waiting for the sea to come in and watch them sail away!

Of course I had to sneak in some of my favourite Boutique Buttons - The Daily Grind and The Happy Traveller.

Hop on over to the Sketchbook365 blog for more inspiration from the team and details of how to enter!

Thanks for popping in.

A Little Weekend Inspiration

The highlight of my weekend was a visit to a new craft fair in Kettering. Although smaller than its big sister in Alexandra Palace, the Big Stamp and Scrapbook Show was a good day out. Bought bags full of stuff that I didn't really need but hey ho!  That is what scrapping is all about :)

Anyway for some inspiration to round off your weekend. Firstly, Riikka Kovasin has shared a layout with me featuring lots of layers and mediums.

For my layout, I used photos from our recent holiday in Cornwall. The papers are all Echo Park - just love these colours.

A little mixture of paper flowers (Manor House Creations) plus some tiny roses.

My button is from The Chatterbox collection.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Thanks for dropping by.

Creative Craft World Challenge

I have joined the lovely team over at Creative Craft World this month. Each month there is a Scrap Map challenge which is a great way to get the mojo going.

Here's the sketch

The sketch was just what I needed to get my creative juices flowing.

I'm the world's slowest scrapper but I managed to get my page done in a jiffy.

I have of course gone to town with some Boutique Buttons - The Daily Grind and The Great Outdoors (for full availability visit one of the stockists - see right). They're just so darn versatile!

I adore the Echo Park papers with a bit of this and that of whatever I had to hand thrown in!

So hop on over to the CCW blog for more inspiration and challenge details.  There's a chance to win CCW fabulous kit!

Thanks for dropping by.

More Inspiration from Emma Trout

I have always been a huge fan of Emma Trout with her unique style, fabulous designs and all the intricate details.

Just check out the details beneath her elements - just love how she combines paints and stamps. She used a button from 'The Happy Tourist' to compliment her page.

Hop on over to Emma's blog to read the story behind this one.
