Sleepless Night

I don't normally suffer from sleepless nights and I'm sure that going on the computer in the middle of the night isn't very helpful.

I haven't been scrapping much lately - I think being displaced from my scrap room has knocked my mojo.  This is not a very good photo of the layout (the background is actually white).

I have been experimenting with making stuff more recently and flowers have been my thing of late.

These flowers were created from Bazzill card, a few beads, ink and patience!  I have no idea why I would want to create my own when I have dozens of lovely, ready made flowers in my stash.

Absolutely no connection whatsoever - the Tim Holtz bird cage. Woo hoo!  Nicki and I have been after these for ages so we're glad to add them to our pile of things we couldn't live without.

This may make no sense in the morning.  I might go and scrap instead.

Thanks for stopping by.

Been a While

I know it has been ages since I posted, but I may have mentioned previously about organising the school's Spring Fair.  It is a mamouth task as we're such a big school, but we had beautiful weather and the day was a massive success!  We raised £4,250 and match-funding brings it up to £5,750 which is AWESOME.

Anyway, I did manage to make a couple of cards over the past week or so and a layout so I'll space them out a bit.

Firstly, a card for a friend's party.  Just love this hanglar image.  I don't know which one it is.

He is such a doll to colour.  I have coloured him for the Color Create Challenge which is aqua and soft green.

Anyway, I'll be back soon with more.  Thanks for popping in.

It Takes Two

Is the challenge over at Just Magnolia.  I have used the new Princess Tilda (thank you Nikki) and adorable frog.

She is such a sweetie isn't she? I kind of made her look like Snow White with black hair.

A sparkly dress fit for any princess of course.

Thanks for stopping by.

Colour Create Challenge

I shouldn't really be making cards when I should be catching up with other things, but sometimes you just have to.

I love these Greeting Farm stamps - so adorable to colour in.  I do tend to use pinks, so it's great being challenged to use another colour way.  The challenge at  Color Create was Teal, Brown and Cream with the option of circles.  I'm such a huge fan of circles.

I sat this little cutie on a 'moon' - created from a circle before cutting out another circle to form the crescent.

Papers are My Mind's Eye.

Pencil Lines Sketch 186

Sorry it's been so long since I posted.  It's that time of year again when it all goes mad.  I have our school fair in a couple of weeks so life is very hectic.

Anyway, I did manage to get this week's Pencil Lines sketch done (only just though).  We were sponsored by the lovley Teresa Collins.

I find it hard to believe that my little boy turns 10 next month.  He is already so tall - up to my nose.  I'm guessing it will be pretty hard to tell him off if I have to look up to him!  Better get me some high-heels.

I love the calendar paper.  You can just cut out the calendar of your choice for a perfect jounral block.

Thanks for stopping in (and your patience).  I do have some cards which I've done over the past few weeks.  Hope to get them up here asap.
