I love a bit of pressure. Gets the ol' blood pumping. You see I had a bunch of things that had to get done before I went away this week. Well they could have waited but I just wanted to make sure I didn't drop the ball.

I got my project done for You Can Craft Magazine. It will be in their Christmas issue all being well. Can't give you any sneeky peaks because that would be naughty but it did turn out really well (I think).

I got some more projects done for Ally Scraps too. I have a blast with my kit this month. We got a free for all so I choose 2 x My Mind's Eye (who wouldn't?) and also Quick Quotes and Prima.

We visited Sudbury Hall last week and it's the first time I've visited, printed and scrapped and a LO all in the same day! These papers are gorgeous though. You can find them all here.

I've also been playing at making cards this week. Now you know I'm not a card maker but I did have a lot of fun trying.

These fun stamps from Sandylion are great for cards and scrapbook pages.

You know I love bunting! I'm figuring on making a whole bunch of these babies.

I'm just hoping that Lauren is invited to lots of parties this year!

The fabulous papers are from Nitwits. These have got to be the cutest digi kits ever! Nicki put me on to them. They are utterly gorgeous.

I've decided that making cards is good for the soul and take up much less space on my shelves!

Happy Scrapping!

Summer's Here?

If it is, I think it's passed me by.

Well the weather did at least. We've been busy beavers and been out and about while DH was off work. We managed almost a whole week in Wales without it raining on us once! A bit of cosmic ordering and we managed to avoid the torrential rain that was forecast even to the extent of it raining whilst we were sleeping.

The kids spent hours in the freezing cold sea having a wales (pardon the pun) of a time. I think it's because we live so far from water.

I'll share the ton of layouts of done recently including some from our fabulous weekend crop. I had a ball. Met a few new people but mostly have loads of fun with the club we've started. Everyone is so lovely and friendly. Hats off to you girls.

This simple layout started off a little flurry of scraplifting. I love the scalloped circle and Kay's gorgeous house die. I so need one of these.

A few scraps of October afternoon is all I could part with but it was enough.

I had this photo sitting in an envelope for ages. I wasn't sure what to do with it but I know I wanted the layout to fly.

I love the look on Lauren's face - she loves Thomas Land at Drayton Manor. It really is the best day out.

The papers are of course from Sassafrass with a bit of Daisy D's mixed in. Those lush alphas are Cosmo Cricket. I love the cute propellor I made. The plane is from Designer Digitals.

This is the last one from our crop (I know 3 in one weekend - amazing). This is for the scraplift challenge at Ally Scraps. I lifted a layout by Julia for my entry.

I used gorgeous MME papers which always helps.

Another 'mini-book' holds more photos from Universal Studios. I love how the stars turned out - must use that one again.

Here's a sneak peak of next month's class for our crop. We'll be making the most of Basic Grey in a double page LO. Yes. A double layout! Can you believe it? I haven't done one of these babies in years.

I think we're certainly sold out for the crop on 21st September and may even have a waiting list.

Going to dash. Have more to share very soon.

TFL!

Anyone would think I was broody!

I had played with some papers from Imaginisce recently and it has got me in the mood for all things cute and baby. Ahhh...

When I get in a mood like this I need to get it out of my system - like an itch waiting to be scratched.

These paper shoes are just so cute in real life. Lauren asked if she could have a pair.

I'm just looking for a project to put them on now. I'm thinking about a keepsake box if I can find something suitable.

Just so the boys don't miss out. I've been doing a bit of hybrid scrapping lately. Mainly because I have a new kit to play with from Designer Digitals.

I love making my own little accents using the elements in the kit. Mindy Teresawa is one of my absolute favourites. She makes the cutest of designs.

I put a few old pictures of Jacob when he was 3.

Most have probably been scrapped before but I needed cute.

I just love these papers from My Mind's Eye. The colours are just so me. One of the Jacob and chums in the park last week. It's so hard to catch him on camera nowadays. Sketch is Page Maps: Thanks Becky!

The cute little accent doubles up as journaling.

Just pull up the star to reveal a tag. Lauren told me how much she just loves finding little envelopes and pop-ups in her books.

I still have some more to upload but may be another time.

Hasta la vista.
