Have you seen Mo Jo?

Mine that is. If you have seen her. Please return her back here asap.

I have a whole bunch of kits from my DT's in my cupboard and a whole lot of nothing in my head. I think I need to get out with my camera so I can put my papers to good use!

I'll give you a sneaky peak at some of the stuff I have managed so far over the last couple of weeks...

Firstly for AllyScraps I've been playing with more Pink Paislee and Fancy Pants.

This one has K&Co Mira papers (and the lovely crochet flower from MME).

Scrapbook Sisters have given me Dream Street Papers to play with. These rich colours work well with all sorts of photos. I've done a mixture of Lauren, Dad and all three of my munchkins.

I also played with my kit from Story of My Own. Look at the cute little bambi stamp. Ahhh

I'll post up the bigger picture later when they're up on their galleries.

Have a great weekend!

Can you hear me from up here?

Yes, I'm still on that cloud...

We had our crop yesterday. Such a great turn out. Everyone who has come so far, has been wonderfully friendly and good fun. I hope that everyone enjoys their time there as much as I do.

It's not very productive for me though. LOL. I spent the good part of 8 hours but only got 1 and half LO's done! Too much chat. (Kay that means you!)

Seriously, I wish we could meet up every week - it's such a tonic.

I did manage to finish off my Random Chaos challenge. We had to scrap a shape (not a rectangle or square).

I printed off a star over 2 pieces of A4 (to make up 12"). Hand cut the star from cardstock and pieced pp over the top.

I love the little railway track (been sitting in my stash FOREVER). The vintage buttons were my Mum's (she adored Jacob).
Sorry the photos aren't the best - I had to make an impromptu photoshoot at the crop yesterday!

Something to tempt you over to AllyScraps forum

Our guest challenger this week for the Book of Me (BOM) is Gina. She is setting a great challenge.

I'll post these up once we're all posted.

I have more LO's to photograph - some for Scrapbook Sisters using Dream Street papers.

If you're up for a bit more inspiration, why not drop in at ScrapDreamie where you'll be able to see some really exciting DT competition entries (although it does make me wonder how come it's me on this cloud).

Hope to chat back soon.

PS. How do you like the new banner?

Floating on Cloud 9

I have got to be the luckiest girl in the world. I have been selected to serve on ScrapDreamie design team (the inspiration for ScrapGenie). WOO HOO!

I have admired the work of the Tracie Hudson for a long time. She has such a knack of putting elements on a page and making them POP! I often wondered - how did she do that? She is a true talent.

When Tracie called me I nearly fainted! She was so kind and very generous about my layouts. She is really lovely to talk to.

I have been busy getting AllyScraps Blog up and running. I created a new blog banner for the occasion. I think I'd better update my own one now.

Cathy got her gift yesterday. She loved it! I wanted to make some bunting for a long time. Then I thought of AllyScraps- Cathy loves pink.

I couldn't resist adding a bit of fluff and sparkles - I have glitter all over my house now! lol. Anyway, I'm so glad that it arrived when it did - I think Cathy needed a little cheering up. She rang me today to say thanks - which was really kind of her.

So yes, I'm having a great week. I hope someone doesn't burst my bubble too soon.

Poor Allyscraps

Some waster who has nothing better to do with their lives has thrown a spanner in the works at Allyscraps forum. It's caused the whole forum to crash. Years of hard work has just gone down the pan! I feel so sorry for Cathy - she certainly doesn't deserve anything like this.

I'll share the LO's I had done (and are posted in the forum) being as the gallery there will be out of action for a while.

Last weekend (is that all??!) we had snow. Just 2 days before, the kids had nagged me into submission to let them get the paddling pool out. Well it wasn't exactly the Bahamas but they did play in it for a while. Then hey presto! real snow.

Those lovely papers are Office Lingo, from Pink Paislee (and a little Fancy Pants). I love the cute little snow man made from a few scraps. Check out Allyscraps for the full range.

Remember my fastest ever LO? Well this baby is it. The fancy Pants glitter overlay did all the work with the Office Lingo scallop paper. A little bit of stamping, a few flowers and some Stickles, job done! I love it. See I can do simple.

Well good luck to Cathy - I hope the techies can sort things out fairly rapidly. I'm going to try and stay in touch with who I can.

See you later alligator.

Well the kids are back in school so i'm left to clear up the aftermath. After 2 days of scrubbing and cleaning, I think the house is back in order. LOL.

I have had my new kit from Allyscraps. I'm lucky to choose what goes in my kit (although I do wonder sometimes what I was on when I order 18 sheets of pp!)

This month, I'm a very lucky girl. I get to play with pink Paislee Office Lingo, Fancy Pants Celebration, K&Co Mira and Imaginisce Shore Thing. To be really honest, I get my lovely stash and wonder what the heck am I going to do? This is why I spend hours pushing paper from one side to another and back again. I get there eventually (normally about 11 o'clock at night).

This month is no exception although I've managed to do 1 layout in 1 hour - a real world record for me! Hint: That is a Fancy Pants overlay (so there's the secret).

Appologies - you can only peak now - you'll have to check in at my Allyscraps Gallery for the full view and products.

That little cutie was made using the Office Lingo line.

This little birdie is whispering sweet nothings to my DD.

This last one is not of the eyes of Cathy at Allyscraps. I'm sending her a little something to decorate the shop. To be honest, I've wanted some forever and because I have nowhere to put it, I thought Cathy could benefit. Laruen saw it and now she wants one!

I'll hopefully show some more when they're up in the gallery.

Hope you have fun.

Almost the end of the Easter Holidays

The weather has been a little disappointing to say the least. England is not the easiest places to keep young children happy if the weather is bad. I've managed to stay away from the Wacky Warehouse though for most of the holidays.

I'll just catch up with the LO's from the last week or so.

This was based on Debbies sketch over at Allyscraps I was a little worried because there are so many photos (you know I can only do 1 at a time). This was using Fancy Pants papers - yummy.

I entered an Easter comp with this one - no such luck this time around - the winning card was awesome! Lolli & Jake on Easter Sunday, Charlecote park. Lolli's face painted as a dalmation in case you're wondering.

Dream Street Miss-fit were the papers for this one. I really thought EEK when I first got them. Sometimes it's hard to work with a single big motif other than putting a photo on top. I went for the cut it out and paste it ontop of another sheet of paper route.

The little house was cut from the reverse of one of the papers and tags from the back of the paper. For full details - check it out at Allyscraps Gallery

This week's challenge at Random Chaos was circles. Easy Peasy for me because you know I love circles.

This little odity is my take on the BOM challenge set by Arlene. We titled the Challenge - Get on your Soapbox. Scrapbook something you feel passionate about. I thought I'd make a LO about my efforts to save the planet by recycling and saving energy. I had a lot of fun making it, but it took me ages because I had to learn so much new stuff in Photoshop. LOL.

TFL!
