Woo Hoo!

It's almost the weekend.

Just a quick catch up on a very slow computer today. I've been working on some secret stuff for the challenge at Allyscraps, so I can't show you those until next week. I've got a whole bunch of lovely girls helping me out with layouts and inspiration - they ROCK!

I also joined in the challenge set by my teamie Trish. Use ribbon in a different way. Well I couldn't really think on how to use it an unusual way, but rather than just tying it or laying it flat, I've used a couple of pins. So that counts right?

This picture of Lolli was hiding in my piles of photos, so what a lovely discovery. Even though I should know better, I'd dated it as Feb last year. Well I don't think that it was last year.

Anyway, look at those lovely chunky chops. They've gotta be munched.

I've done the hearts and wings by hand. That lovely vellum is Papermania would you believe. I've stamped underneath too (Stampington). I loved how it turned out. It's my current favourite (I think).

TFL!

A new challenge is available over at Random Chaos. This week's challenge {#4} is Scrap a Birthday.

Well fortunately for me, Lauren has just turned 4 so I had something recent to scrap.

I'm experimenting with a different style whilst I have no DT projects on the go. I kinda like it although it's taking me 2 nights to get a LO done.LOL. Perhaps I'll be quicker one of these days.

This was last week's challenge - No cardstock! Eek! That wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Got there eventually though. Those papers are MM and Collage Press from my Story of My Own kit. Just wait to you see the stamps that came with it. You'll have to wait until next week when my new challenge comes out at Allyscraps.

TTFN.

I'm Back!

Been a really busy time lately.

We ran our first crop last week. Nicki & I were sat on our own at 10 o'clock thinking that we'd be it for the day! How wrong we were. We had a full house which was fantastic. Lots of new people and new faces and my class went well - which is a real relief. Can't wait for the next one on the 9th March.

Even better than that. I got a phonecall from Dana and I got back on the Allyscraps DT!!! YIPPPEEEE!!! It really made my day. I've been doing a little happy dance ever since.

Right, for some layouts. I did this in response to Ria Mojica's lovely sketch at Allyscraps. Used my Story of My own kit. Awesome sketch Ria.

Still trying to plough my way through all those Disney photos before we go again (fingers crossed). Really pleased how this one turned out. Love those My mind's eye papers.

I've started the new Book of Me forum at Allyscraps. We're going to be getting some pages done and tell our story. This is the first challenge. Why don't you pop along here and join in the fun?

Been dabbling in the dark art of hybrid scrapping. These cute papers were Prima Hybrid. I'm having a real cute, spring moment currently. Just waiting for those daffodils to pop out.

Happy birthday Lauren!!!

My baby is 4 today! We've been to build a bear and have a new addition to the family. Tammy is the cutest, whitest (not for long) West Highland Terrier who can also skateboard. Yippeee.

Been a busy gal getting my DT stuff under my belt.

So let me see. I got on to the Random Chaos challenge blog DT. Janelle will set a new challenge every week and we have to come up with a response. We don't get much of a turnaround but that's why it's a challenge!

I had to use 6 different manufacturers for the first - went a bit overboard with 10. The LO is of Lolli and Georg. Georg seems smitten with Lolli and when Lolli told me they would get married one day I was more than happy - he is such a lovely boy.

Challenge 2 was a lot easier - just use a bit of chipboard and some letter stickers. Being as I have no ink at the moment, I'm relying on old photos. This one goes back to Jacob's birthday in June. He had a party at the snow dome.

I've done a bunch of cool things for Scrapbook sisters recently. Their new Kit featured My Mind's Eye and was truly lush.

I have to rush off to finish making dinner, but here's a glimpse of my album I did using the same papers. I was so pleased with the way it turned out.
