Ho Ho Ho. Don't you just love Christmas?

Jacob & Lolli have had such a wonderful Christmas. Excited is an understatement.

I've had the best Christmas-eve ever! We visited a Panto at our local theatre. It was EXCELLENT. We all joined in with the booing, hissing and singing. The kids and I are still singing.

Dinner went without a hitch almost. Our trip to the park meant that the spuds were slightly too crispy!

Just sorting out some photos I took of recent projects. Almost forgot that I did this one. It's sooooo cute!

I've used K&Co mini-album, but didn't have the heart as usual to use all the papers that came with it, so I've made my own bits and pieces using a K&Co scrap pad. Means I can make another album another day!

Christmas has arrived! I have finally got around to starting the Christmas festivities - late I know. I bought one of those Ikea gingerbread houses a long time ago and have been too scared to make it up. As I couldn't put it off any longer - I finally did it.
I don't think that it's too bad for my first attempt EVER at icing, piping and making a syrup.

If that wasn't all I've made decorations for the tree too, well actually they are supposed to be peppermint creams but they didn't taste very nice! NIGELLA EAT YOUR HEART OUT!

But there's more - I've done another couple of Christmas layouts. I've done more this year already than I did the whole of last year.

Do you know the song by Pilot - It's Magic? I thinks it's been on a recent advert. Well the kids do such a cute rendition I had to document it. I changed it to Ho HO HO it's Magic!
Taken on a recent trip to see Santa's Grotto. Definately all I want for Christmas!

Cooking with GasJust finished some LO's for Crafty-Ness dt. I was given 3 lovely patterned papers; Basic Grey & K&co. I found it quite a challenge because I wanted to do a DLO for a change (typical isn't it?)
This one is my old friends and I meeting up for a drink. I really had an embossing moment.

I love this one of DS. He didn't want to see Santa at the weekend - typical reaction - but look at his face. That smile doesn't lie does it. He was genuinely excited. Shame I couldn't persuade Lolli to have her picture taken. I hand cut the swirly design and trees. I really love this one.
This last LO is made up from the paper scraps from the kit. Also cut up some SEI papers (sacrilege) to make the title and accents. I'm learning to layer and embellish at long last!

I wonder if I'm getting the hang of this blogging thing. 2 posts in 2 weeks!

Just 10 days until Xmas - the kids are truly excited and I'm just run ragged. I don't think I'll be organised in time for Xmas but I have done some LO's this week.

This is of the family taken in the Summer - cute aren't they? I'm into layering and sticky out bits at the moment.

But here's my current favourite - created for another DT entry. Hope they like it as much as I do!

Also got the nod on another LO for a UK magazine. Sent if off today - keep your fingers crossed that it makes it into the gallery.

Just going to have a little rant about design teams.

A few of us have been on a mission to get onto a design team. Mainly spurned on by Karyn (Matiepeeps) I finally got onto a great team at Crafty-Ness. I guess that not many people entered.

Anyway, since then we've been keeping a lookout for one another for any other DT going. How annoying that you go to all the effort of creating something beautiful, sending it in, to find that somebody famous has entered and of course got the spot. Hey you girls. You are on enough teams/ magazines/forums. Give everyone else a chance. Yes I am being a bit jealous, but seriously, who is going to pick some nobody when they can have somebody well-known, if not famous.
